1. What is the purpose of metaphysics?

To offer insight and assistance in accelerating the soul’s spiritual unfoldment.

2. Is metaphysics a religion?

No. Metaphysics is a way of life. It’s a lifestyle that combines an approach, a philosophy, and a practical way of living.

3. Do I have to give up my religion to follow metaphysics?

No. True metaphysics honors the divine teachings in all religions and enhances the worship and appreciation of the religion you are practicing.

4. Do I have to give up my personal lifestyle to follow metaphysics?

No. Metaphysics teaches that we begin our spiritual ascent right from where we are. Look first to improve the conditions you are presently facing, and gradually the spiritual life will enfold you in a natural way.

5. How do I know if the teachings I’m receiving are true and accurate?

When being introduced to any spiritual teaching, first see if the teaching resonates with you and appeals to the highest and best in you. If so, then put those teachings to the test. Do they work in your life? Judge the tree by the fruit.

6. Do I need a spiritual teacher to walk the path of light?

We walk our own path to God. No one can do it for us. Yet it can be of great assistance to find a qualified teacher. There are many intricacies in reaching the spiritual summit, and to do it completely on our own is a little like trying to learn medicine without going to medical school. Even a true teacher must go through training and many rigors before becoming qualified to teach.

7. If a teacher charges for instruction, is this a true teacher?

It depends. Some schools of metaphysics do not charge for their teachings. The reason for this is to steer clear of vested interest or the feeling that a student can buy their way to enlightenment. However, as the adage tells us, “The laborer is worthy of his hire.” There needs to be balance in any type of spiritual exchange. When done correctly, charging for instruction is an effective way to balance that energy.

8. Why do there appear to be so many paths to God?

All true paths to God are part of the same path, but are couched in different languages and terminology to accommodate diverse cultures and peoples.

9. What is expected of me while walking the metaphysical path to God?

Metaphysics require the sincerest effort and dedication. One must apply the principles of truth diligently in the day-to-day dealings of life for those truths to take hold. Metaphysics asks us to puts things in their spiritual order by putting God first. With knowledge comes responsibility, but also great rewards.

10. What exactly is spiritual growth?

The maturing and development of the soul’s divine potential.

It is so important to face your karma.
We all come to this Earth with unfinished business.Your soul incarnates in physical form to learn what it has either neglected to learn in past lives or to learn lessons that still are a part of its framework and evolutionary climb.

Your experiences in this life are but one chapter in your book of life. You simply cannot judge or see the whole picture of your life history from the viewpoint of a single lifetime, not matter what that life is like. There will always be good karma that you bring in and karma that you need to redeem. Whatever the karmic slate is, you cannot outrun your karma. Facing and resolving karma is one of the most effective ways to quicken your spiritual development. And avoiding and delaying learning the lessons our karma presents, can slow down your spiritual progress no matter how effective you are in other areas of your life.

Karma is the balancer of life-the harmonizer. You generate karma with your every thought, word, emotion, act and deed. It can reach into any aspect of your life.  You can have karma related to family, money, health, relationships. And there are many different types of karma. There is personal karma, soul karma, mental karma, emotional karma, national karma, race karma and world karma. That’s a lot of cause and effect going on!

The law of karma is designed in love to make you a greater being and realize the great goal you have. Karma is designed always to help build you up not tear you down or punish you.  Without the laws of karma you could not grow and reach spiritual mastery.

It takes courage to look at your faults and face your karma. There can be a natural inclination is to avoid anything that is unpleasant. One of the hardest things is to realize that as an evolving soul you have done it all. Through your many incarnations, you have done great and noble things and you have done not so great thing things. It’s all part of the growing process and all these things play a role in the karmic pattern of your life.

If you were too passive in a past life, you will have to develop a dynamic will in this life. If you were cruel in a past marriage, you will have to show kindness now. If you were impatient before, you will have to learn patience now and so on. You will find the character traits you express now are as a result of your accumulated past lifetimes of experience.

With all the challenges and activities of life, it can be easy to forget that each step you take IS your spiritual path.  It  can become habitual to feel that you are on a spiritual merry-go-round, pursuing the path but somehow not getting where you need to be. It is at these times that you need to stop, take a breath, and reevaluate where you are in your spiritual journey.

Your Spiritual Ascent is a miraculous journey. It represents the blossoming of your soul, the unfolding of the spiritual powers latent within you. Earth is a schoolhouse and you are here to grow and serve the divine plan. In this school there are definite grades and levels. Right now you are in the process of growing through the spiritual planes. These planes are actual dimensions of life and consciousness that you have to embody and master if you are to win the crown of life, the culminating achievement in your earthly journey.

In the esoteric work, these spiritual planes are called the astral worlds. The astral worlds are the dimensions of life you go to when you pass from this life through the portal called death. These dimensions are magnificent, but they are not just for the day when you are finished with your earthly life. These dimensions are part of you right now. You receive help and support from the astral planes. As you earn spiritual light, you grow through these realms while you are right here in physical life. This is the essence of your spiritual ascent.

There are seven of these astral dimensions that you are evolving through. Eventually you will finish with the astral planes altogether and step into the next dimension of life known as the heaven worlds of Spiritual Etheria.

Your passport to the spiritual worlds is the Divine Light you earn. The more spiritual power you earn the higher in consciousness you can climb and the greater your spiritual ascent through the astral planes. It’s a wondrous journey.

How do you help in your spiritual ascent? Is there a way to quicken this process? The answer is straight forward: there is no shortcut to spiritual enlightenment, but by putting your hands to the plough and applying yourself, you can accelerate the process, right now.

The key to your spiritual ascent is the Divine Light. Do all that you can to earn light. Through every good word, thought, act and deed you are earning light. Your efforts do add up! In all your choices and decisions, look to the best course of action regardless of personal feelings. Be willing to face the challenges of life head on. These tests are the very opportunity to help you grow and mature. And as you master these challenges, you are building your spiritual power.

The other way you earn spiritual light and quicken your spiritual steps is through meditation. By meditating regularly, you are giving yourself time to commune with the Divine and receive the gifts of Spirit. There are some who say they are too busy to meditate or say they do not know how to meditate. This is like saying you have no time for God or don’t know how to receive from God. Of course you do! It’s all a matter of choice.

Through every sincere effort you are growing and unfolding your spiritual power. Put God first in all you do and watch your life blossom.

Ninth Key: DYNAMIC ACTION

The ninth Key to success in your spiritual growth is Dynamic Action. Dynamic action is  divine inspiration made manifest.

All creation exists through the law of dynamic action. Everything in this universe and beyond -from a blade of grass, to a train, to the milky way-  is the product of divine inspiration given life. Dynamic action brings in vigor and vitality necessary to  bring our thoughts, desires, and dreams into being. You can desire the spiritual life, but if you are not putting that desire into action you will not get the benefit. Your spiritual growth begins as a longing. That longing must be ACTED upon to be fulfilled.

Eighth Key:  CONFIDENCE

The eighth Key to success in your spiritual growth is Confidence. Confidence says you know you are a child of God.

When we invite the self-assurance of divine purpose and guidance into our hearts a deep peace descends upon us and we experience the euphoria of working hand in had with God .
When you work with God, how can you not but succeed?

To maintain steady confidence you need to include God in everything you do. God is with you while you cook, during traffic, at your business meeting, while you talk with your children, in line at the DMV – God is always there, and in everything you do. It’s your cooperation with this divine process that unlocks the secret of confidence.

Today we will look at the seventh Key in the Ten Keys to Success in Spiritual Growth. Remember, as each key is presented take time to reflect and honestly, and lovingly evaluate how well you are implementing that particular Key. Once you have a clear picture of where you stand and where you would like to grow, meditate using the aura color given at the end of the section.

Seventh Key: ENTHUSIASM

The seventh Key to success is Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is essential in facilitating your spiritual growth. There needs to be strong motivation and the ability to deflect those that might try to discourage you on the path.

Enthusiasm is not a blind euphoria that quickly melts away. In terms of your spiritual growth enthusiasm is the ability to the do the work that lies before you with a cheerful heart. And of course enthusiasm is infectious. Your enthusiasm for the spiritual life encourages others in their spiritual journey.

Sixth Key: INSPIRATION

The sixth Key to success in your spiritual growth is Inspiration.

Inspiration is the act of receiving ideas from Divine Consciousness. It is the Higher talking to you. This comes in with a strong feeling of elevation. Inspiration flows like beautiful music. You feel a deep oneness with a great idea.

Inspiration is indispensable to your spiritual growth as you are not walking the path alone. You are constantly being guided by the divine; it is essential you be open to that guidance. To increase your inspirational flow, remain flexible and open-minded.  Maintain a state of relaxed readiness for that unexpected moment of divine upliftment.

Fourth Key: AFFIRMATIVE WILL

The fourth Key to success in your spiritual growth is Affirmative Will.

You must be in a steady state of affirming your will or desire to spiritually succeed. If you feel you cannot reach your spiritual goals or that you are somehow not worthy of God’s attention, you will need to redirect your attention. Each of us has a specific spiritual potential for this incarnated life. Your attitude needs to be one of “I know I will get there!”

Today we will look at the third Key in the Ten Keys to Success in Spiritual Growth. Remember, as each key is presented take time to reflect,  and honestly and lovingly evaluate how well you are implementing that particular Key. Once you have a clear picture of where you stand and where you would like to grow, meditate using the auric color given at the end of the section.

Third Key: KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge is the Third Key.
You are going to need a constant steady flow of knowledge to be spiritually successful.  Knowledge is like a beautiful rosebud, opening one petal at a time. Never let yourself be fooled into thinking you have learned it all. The more knowledge you gain, the more there is to learn.

Exercise: To enhance and awaken your passaion for spiritual Knowledge meditate with the Gold Ray for Wisdom

“The way to maintain joy in your work life is to enjoy the process without being attached to results. This is work for its own sake more than for the rewards you may reap. Which doesn’t mean you don’t pay attention and strive to reach the career goals you’ve set; it simply means that you don’t identify those goals as your primary motivation. You are not always in control of how things turn out. If a job doesn’t work out the way you’d envisioned, you might feel like a failure and believe that your time was wasted. But if you put your heart into the process of work and recognized that your spiritual growth was in the journey itself as much as in the destination, then you’d know that no time was wasted at all. What appeared to be failure would contribute to success in the next try, and the one after that.”
