All of creation is teeming with spiritual energy, or consciousness. For each stage of life, energy works a little differently depending upon need and characteristic. As energy relates to individual kingdoms and planes of consciousness it takes on various properties. The angelic kingdoms work within their energy field, the animal kingdom in theirs, the nature spirits and devas within their own energy field. The higher up you go in the evolutionary ladder, the more energy is required and used.
In harmony with the rest of creation, we in the human kingdom are in our own energy field. Within our own field of activity there are all types of energies in motion. To name a few, there is:
- individual energy
- family energy
- city energy
- state energy
- country energy
Also at work is the group energy of your work environment, your religion, and your race. All of these factors determine your state of consciousness. Thankfully, this flow of energy is dynamic and in constant motion, allowing for growth and change.
Spiritual energy does not stay the same. Your capacity for spiritual energy (enlightened consciousness) fluctuates depending on your thinking and feeling. For example, if you are in a happy frame of mind during the day but get angry that night, your energy is going to reflect that change. You will move from a pink uplifting vibration to a dark vitiated vibration. Of course, this is not your entire aura, nor is it permanent.
Here is where you must learn the technique of raising your consciousness and getting in touch with the higher energies of God. As you strengthen your thoughts and emotions, you strengthen your auric field, thus increasing the amount of spiritual energy you can contain. All this can be done in a direct way if you know the formula.
Spiritual energy and consciousness walk hand in hand. It is part of the Divine’s plan for us to learn how to work with spiritual energy, increasing our vibration and our light. Now is the perfect time to begin the journey!

The New Year has started off on a very good note for Spiritual Arts Institute. We are delighted to announce that, because of people like yourself, our Fall 2009 Fund Drive was a complete success. We raised over $21,000 in contributions. Because of the success of the fund drive and despite the many challenges of last year, 2009 turned out to be the best year yet for Spiritual Arts Institute. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped. There is still much work ahead to fulfill all that the institute is meant to accomplish, but we are encouraged by your support.
As part of the goal of the fund drive, Spiritual Arts Institute will be starting a scholarship fund to help dedicated students attend classes who are in financial need. We will be sending out details about the program soon.
In addition to the funds raised, many volunteered their time and skills for our outreach program. With the publication of Reincarnation and Karma in Fall 2010, we are going to need all your help to get the word out about this new work and all that the institute does. We will be sending out information soon about what you can do to help.
We have some exiting events coming up January/February. There will be a free workshop The Healing Power of Your Aura at the Bodhi Tree Sunday, January 24 and a free teleclass Healing Relationships with the Aura February 1.
Our six-week Internet foundation course Change Your Aura, Change Your Life begins February 10. This program teaches you how to work with spiritual energy and is the key to all the training offered through the institute. We have daytime as well as evening classes.
We hope to see you often in 2010.
Happy New Year,
Dimitri Moraitis
Executive Director
Spiritual energy, or the Divine Light of God, is the single biggest key to building and sustaining health, because it connects you to your source of health. Regardless of the technique employed to bring health into being, the light is the key to making health possible. It gives you the power and consciousness to manifest health.

Q: How can I discover my purpose in life?
A: This is a question that burns in many people’s minds, and is on our list of the 10 most asked questions. It is essential that each of us ponder this question. Too many people live life without really asking what their purpose is. The first thing to realize is that each of us has a purpose. We are not meant to walk through life aimlessly even though it may feel like that at times. There is a grand plan of life that we are all part of. A second thing to see is that somewhere in your consciousness, you already know what your purpose is. You already know what you are meant to do. This tells us that part of the journey of life is to rediscover that purpose. It’s our job to be persistent and find our purpose no matter how long it takes. No one can do that for us.
An interesting spiritual energy to work with in meditation if you feel disconnected is the emerald green ray of balance. This energy ray can help bring you back in harmony with your purpose, and the spiritual rhythm of life.

When we relate with other people, not only is there an exchange of thoughts and emotions, but there is an exchange of spiritual energy as well. This can most clearly be seen in our aura. In fact, there is a steady exchange of energy when we are interacting with others. This is by divine design of course. If there were no exchange of energy, we could not connect with people and our relationships would have no meaning.
As we know, our relationships are not always of the highest order. It is all too easy for anger, resentment, frustration and disappointment to set in and this disturbs the quality of our relationships. We must be very careful as an exchange of negative energy from one aura to another has a debilitating effect on the sender and the receiver. Most of the time, we’re not aware that we may be sending or receiving negative energy. Yet we’re certainly aware when an exchange with another person has left us happy or sad.
Here are a few simple guidelines to help you work with your aura in any difficult interaction with others. First recognize that the goal of any relationship is to come from a place to love. Love is the key to healing any relationship friction. So your first job is to work with the deep rose-pink ray to uplift yourself and the other person.
Second, no one has the right to step into your auric field unless somewhere you permit that to happen. This means if you are faced with a difficult relationship, you have to stand up for yourself and refuse to become a victim in any way. If you feel an exchange with another person is heading into a negative direction, see yourself in a golden bubble of protective light and silently refuse any negative energy that may be directed at you. By refusing the destructive energy, you’re helping diffuse the situation which will help all people involved. It’s also a good idea to shower your entire aura with the gold light to build more dynamic power in your dealings with others.
If you’re the one who has sent negative energy to another person, then it is a good idea to work with the white light. Ask that the white light go to that person to release any negative energy you may have sent as well as to derail the destructive effect it may have had on them. Do your best to think kindly of that person. If you find it difficult to do, reaffirm the spiritual perspective with an affirmation such as, “I let this go and put this person in God’s loving hands. I refuse to think badly about this person.” This will help avoid the transmission of any destructive energy.
We are all precious in God’s sight regardless of the mistakes we may make. Being dynamic and strong as well as loving and kind is the key to creating healthy and productive relationships.
