The New Year has started off on a very good note for Spiritual Arts Institute. We are delighted to announce that, because of people like yourself, our Fall 2009 Fund Drive was a complete success. We raised over $21,000 in contributions. Because of the success of the fund drive and despite the many challenges of last year, 2009 turned out to be the best year yet for Spiritual Arts Institute. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped. There is still much work ahead to fulfill all that the institute is meant to accomplish, but we are encouraged by your support.
As part of the goal of the fund drive, Spiritual Arts Institute will be starting a scholarship fund to help dedicated students attend classes who are in financial need. We will be sending out details about the program soon.
In addition to the funds raised, many volunteered their time and skills for our outreach program. With the publication of Reincarnation and Karma in Fall 2010, we are going to need all your help to get the word out about this new work and all that the institute does. We will be sending out information soon about what you can do to help.
We have some exiting events coming up January/February. There will be a free workshop The Healing Power of Your Aura at the Bodhi Tree Sunday, January 24 and a free teleclass Healing Relationships with the Aura February 1.
Our six-week Internet foundation course Change Your Aura, Change Your Life begins February 10. This program teaches you how to work with spiritual energy and is the key to all the training offered through the institute. We have daytime as well as evening classes.

Our new summer session of classes on the aura and spiritual development has begun. If you missed signing up this time but would like to take a class, the next session of classes starts on October 14. We look forward to seeing you then!
There’s still time to sign up for the new Change Your Aura, Change Your Life internet classes starting this Wednesday, April 15th. We are most grateful to all who contributed to our 2008 Fund Drive. Last year, the institute raised over $30,000 from donations. It is your support that keeps Spiritual Arts Institute thriving! To kick start donations for 2009, we have on our website a great feature where you can donate monthly. Simply click the recurring feature on the donation page and that amount will be charged once a month for a long as you wish. The donation is made automatically and you can cancel at any time. Our first event in January, The Aura of Relationships, follows the theme of this month’s newsletter. It will be at the Bodhi Tree in Los Angeles, Sunday, January 11 at 3pm. We are also offering this workshop in our next teleclass, Wednesday, January 21 at 6:30 pm PST. Both events are free and we encourage you to invite your friends.
Our 2008 Spiritual Arts Institute Retreat was a great success. Our thanks again go to Victoria Jennings, Gabriella Taylor, Joanne Flory and The Joshua Tree Retreat Center for all their help. The retreat was the highlight of the year for us and the energy and fellowship were extraordinary.

We are pleased to announce that we are adding a daytime class as well, for those of you who have been wishing to take classes but were unable to attend at the evening time. We had a great start to the new Change Your Aura, Change Your Life internet class this past Wednesday, and the ongoing Seven Spiritual Arts class on Thursday evenings is blossoming into a wonderful group of people. Thank you all for your presence, participation and dedication.
