The institute has been particularly busy this last month. We are gearing up for some exciting new changes in an effort to reach out to more people than ever before. Our goal is to give you every opportunity to benefit from the wisdom and knowledge that Spiritual Arts Institute has to offer.
The theme of this issue continues with the subconscious mind as there is so much to look at in this vast topic. I hope you will join us for an encore engagement of Barbara’s workshop, Unlocking the Power of Your Subconscious Mind. The event will be offered at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Los Angeles on April 13.
Our next cycle of online classes including the foundation course, Change Your Aura, Change Your Life begins April 16th! This foundation program is the key to all the training offered at the institute. We are adding a daytime class for those who cannot attend the evening timeslot. We are delighted with the wonderful family of online students who are participating in these courses.
The weekend workshop in Encinitas went beautifully. We thank Trisha and Tom Kelly for doing such a wonderful job of organizing the event. They have a marvelous yoga studio and attract a great group of people. We are looking forward to our return engagement at Infinity Foundation in the Chicago area for a full day workshop Enlightening the Mind on June 28, and at New Renaissance Bookstore in Portland, OR for The Healing Power of Your Aura workshop on July 19th.
On the book front, after a difficult transition period from our old distributor, our new distributor is working diligently to get our books in more places than ever before. We are happy to announce that Russia and Czechoslovakia have been added to our list of foreign rights sold.

We hope your New Year 2008 is getting off to a great start! We are particularly excited about the program of classes we have to offer this year. Our aim is always to keep the institute’s teachings fresh, inspiring and accurate. Barbara Martin has been teaching metaphysics for forty years, and she has a proven track record of offering the highest quality spiritual instruction. This year feels particularly inspiring with the knowledge we are incorporating into our programs. Our foundation course, Change Your Aura, Change Your Life, begins February 20th! This program is the key to all the training offered at the institute.
We want to thank everyone who helped make the November 2007 retreat such a success. In past years, we have held the retreat at Ojai, Apple Valley, Lake Arrowhead and The Center of the Open Rose. This year we hosted the event at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center. Students from all over the country attended. It was a joy to work many wonderful brothers and sisters in light. A special thanks to Victoria Jennings, Mara Cantelo and Joanne Flory for making us feel right at home!
I hope you will join us for Barbara’s first workshop of 2008, Unlocking the Power of Your Subconscious Mind. The event will be offered at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Los Angeles on January 27, and at Many Paths Bookstore in North Hollywood on February 17.
Our first out of town event will be an exciting exploration of the aura and our personal affairs, The Spiritual Keys of Living, hosted by Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, CA. We will be returning to Infinity Foundation in the Chicago area for a full day workshop, Enlightening the Mind, and at New Renaissance Bookstore in Portland, OR for The Healing Power of Your Aura workshop, as well as other locations we will announce soon.

Barbara will be teaching a special introductory workshop on The Aura of Relationships at the Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood on October 3rd. She will explore working with the aura to build more love and harmony in your interactions with others. She will also be giving aura readings to members of the audience. See you there!
