congo symphony

Deep in the heart of the Congo, a nation torn by civil war and poverty, one man’s love of music has transcended all obstacles and created the impossible – a symphony in the Congo.

Armand Diangienda was a pilot by trade, but when the airline he worked for went bankrupt he decided to follow his true passion, music.

Armand dreamed of creating a full classical orchestra. There were only a few challenges – there were no musicians, no teachers, no instruments, and no music.

congo symphonyUndaunted by the massive task, Armand taught himself how to read music and to play the piano, the trombone, the guitar, and the cello!

The visionary salvaged all the instruments he could find and convinced his friends to play. They in turn brought more friends. As word spread, Armand amassed 200 musicians and vocalists, all of whom he taught.

Today Armand’s home serves as a makeshift conservatory. From the early hours of the morning to the late hours of the night, every corner is filled with music, and with hope.

auraAs the world evolves and information is shared,  many people are asking the important question, what is enlightenment? More than any other time in history, humanity is exploring various spiritual practices in search of truth. With so many choices, it can be difficult to know what is best for you and what will really lead to the great goal of enlightenment.

The key is to have a clear picture of what the goal of spiritual development really is. The purpose of metaphysics, the study of the spiritual root of life,  is to help you reach your spiritual potential which will ultimately lead you to great goal of enlightenment.

Enlightenment is not an abstract idea, nor a vague wish or fanciful notion. It is a very real part of your life and something attainable. At the same time,  to achieve enlightenment will require all your talents, dedication and abilities to accomplish.

What exactly is enlightenment? Enlightenment means many things. It is the culmination of a long spiritual journey where many facets of human development come together as a unified whole. At its core, enlightenment is ability to connect with the God presence in you. It means you have passed from a phase of inner faith to inner knowing. You are one who is truly “communing with the divine.” An enlightened soul has reached a high level of maturity and awakened the inner sensories latent in all humans.

MetaphysicsEnlightenment shows itself unmistakably in a person’s auric field. The aura is the energetic blueprint of a person’s soul. Everything we think, feel and do registers in the aura and can be clairvoyantly seen.

As a person reaches the enlightened stage of consciousness, the aura develops glorious colors and hues.  The whole aura changes shape to a beautiful pointed oval. There is an expansive outer glow of light and power. Gold energy is strongly pronounced along with white light. With an enlightened aura, there are no dark or undeveloped areas. Every facet, from the chakras to the auric divisions, has taken on new qualities.

How do you reach enlightenment? Like any skill or art, spiritual development takes effort and training, yet the best way to start is right where you are!  Start by building up the spiritual power in your aura and consciousness with every good word, thought, act and deed. Start at home with your family and friends. Bring the divine into your finances and workplace. Every good thing you do builds up and enlightens your aura.

The steps to enlightenment are essentially the same as they have been for ages. What has dramatically changed in today’s world is that rather than being for a select group of people who were ready for the journey, millions of people are now ready. Many have had the spiritual calling. This is God, the Beloved, Universal Consciousness, knocking on our door to awaken us to our true potential.

enlightenmentEnlightenment is your destiny. Regardless of when you reach this goal, every soul on this schoolhouse earth is meant to enlighten their soul and graduate so they can go onto greater spiritual adventures. If you have had your spiritual awakening, then it is time to start paying closer attention to this part of your life.

The key is application. As you mediate and pray, pursue your potential and purpose, and meet the challenges of your life, you are building your bridge to enlightenment.

The imagination and creativity of a child is a precious gift. Paul Collard is the CEO of Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE), a UK-based organization funded by government “to unlock the creative potential of children and young people, in order to prepare them for success in the creative economy of the 21st century.”

Paul explains, “Creativity is … being able to make good ideas happen.” This is key because creativity and culture are drivers of social and economic change.

A recent project of CCE was assisting a group of children in London purchase a new classroom for their school campus – a nonoperational, full-sizedpassenger airplane! The children came up with the idea, negotiated the plane’s purchase, designed the interior with David Beckham’s personal plane designer, and wrote letters to council for permission to park it on school grounds.

By encouraging our children to imagine, to play, to think outside the box, we are instilling within them the knowing that their contribution to the world is valuable and essential. This confidence goes on to create talented individuals who will confidently go out and peruse their dreams.

Barbara Y. Martin and Dimitri Moraitis, two accomplished metaphysical teachers and authors, advocate the early spiritual education of our children to nurture their creativity, emphasizing that kids learn by example.

Dimitri shares the story, “Barbara and I were teaching the basic principles of metaphysics to young children, ages 6 to 14, who were studying to be actors in major motion picture films.  At one point Barbara shared with the children that talent shows up in the aura as a brilliant electric blue. The next day the children came to class and everyone was wearing blue – they got it!”

Introducing your kids gently to metaphysics is ideal, remembering that children are adult souls in a child’s body.  While Barbara and Dimitri recommend waiting until the age of twelve to introduce your child to meditation, exposing them to spiritual principles can be fun, and you may be surprised by how quickly they catch on!

Children Spirituality Playing

A great way to work with the light with kids is to use creative visualizations, such as encouraging them to envision themselves surrounded in a golden bubble for protection, or seeing themselves cloaked in pink light for love.  You can also play creative games to teach your children about the divine light.

By sharing the light work with your children not only are you nurturing their natural ability to be creative, you are also watering the seeds of their innate spirituality.

Live simply that others might simply live.
~Elizabeth Ann Seton

To live simply is to learn to let go. By letting go of the need to be right, the need to have/do/be more, the need for others approval, etc., we free ourselves from the illusions of this world and begin to bear witness to the inherent divinity present in all things, at all times.

How do we learn let go?
We have been blessed with an abundance of tools to assist us in becoming ever more aware of the beauty of THIS moment. Luckily for us they are accessible and enjoyable!

Color:
Colors are various gradations of Light perceived by the physical eye. In metaphysics color is seen as spiritual energy and can be defined as,  “Divine Light that propels the life force of God to all creation.” (Change Your Aura, Change Your Life) With this understanding of color, we can become more centered, more loving, more peaceful just by the colors we surround ourselves with. One of the easiest ways to use the power of color is to mindfully choose the colors we dress ourselves in. If you’re needing more vitality, wear red. If you are in need of balance and harmony, green is the way to go. Needing to tap into some inspiration? Powder blue will assist you.

Affirmations:
Our thinking has a direct impact on the quality of our lives. By declaring affirmations with spiritual power and sincerity, we attune our mind to the positive flow of the universe and attract into our lives the experiences our hearts are most desiring. Affirmations are positive declarations – they do not contain the words “not” or “never”.  An example of this would be instead of saying, “I am not sick” say, “I accept only perfect health”.

Movement:
One of the easiest ways to center and let go is by becoming present to movement of our breath. By peacefully observing the inhale and exhale, the gentle rise and the fall of the belly, we slow our heart rate down, calm the nerves, and release tension. This small act can completely transform our reality. The next time you are feeling rushed, or are in the midst of a challenging experience, stop for a moment and take a deep inhale through your nose and exhale out through your mouth. Repeat this cycle at least 3 times, allowing your chest to soften and your stomach to expand. To add to the calming effect, when you exhale let out a sigh, a deep, “Ahhhhhh”. This sound alerts our subconscious that its safe and tells the muscles in our bodies to release and let go.

An excerpt from Barbara and Dimitri’s book,  Karma and Reincarnation:

“Karma is a starting point, not an end point. Whatever karmic condition you find yourself in, that is the starting point to turn things around. It is the divine tuning process to bring life back into balance.

“Be careful if you find yourself saying things like, “I’m supposed to suffer like this. This is karma, and I’m suppose to go through this.” Karma doesn’t work like that. You can create karma by doing this because you are avoiding something your supposed to be doing. Karma is not an excuse to avoid dealing with life’s challenges.

You are born to succeed. It doesn’t matter how dire your circumstances, the divine sees you as precious and essential. When you resist, struggle and strife ensue as part of the spiritual growth to bring you back into harmony. When you harmonize withe your purpose, the universe brings everything together to assist in your success. “

Here are the first 3 points to remember regarding Karma:

  • Look to the lesson
  • Face your karma
  • You’re always given karma you can handle.

The legend of Atlantis reflects one of humanity’s greatest unsolved mysteries: How did civilization get started? Science teaches civilization developed around 6,000+ years ago out of primitive humans who settled into agricultural societies. Yet, there persists a belief of a far more remote past. From the writings of Plato who spoke of a great society living on an island in the Atlantic “9,000 years before the time of Solon”, to legends in many cultures of a mighty civilization destroyed by water, to the archeological site Göbekli Tepe in Turkey dated at around 9,000 BC, it is clear that humanity still does not have the full story as to its own origins.

Metaphysics teaches that civilization is, in fact, far older than 6,000 years. A key aspect of this pre-history is Atlantis. Atlantis has stirred the imagination and so much excitement and rightfully so. Yet in understanding the mystery of Atlantis, we must do our best to take a sober, careful approach and not to let imagination get the better of us. In this article, I cannot begin to go into the breadth of what Atlantis was and evidence for its existence. I know from my own clairvoyant experiences, Atlantis was very real. What I hope to offer are answers to a few basic questions, from the metaphysical perspective, of this most extraordinary time in human history.

If Atlantis existed, why is there no conclusive archeological evidence?

The short answer is: it’s simply not time. Humanity is not ready to understand its remote past. Such a discovery would change the fabric of society in dramatic ways and humanity as whole is not quite ready to take that step. Yet according to the Higher, the evidence is unmistakably there waiting to be discovered. There have been a few finds that have pointing the way and eventually this will open the door to the greatest archeological discoveries of all time.

What was Atlantis really like?

Atlantis went through several periods from primitive beginnings to genuine sophistication spanning vast stretches of time, far greater than the entire recorded history of modern civilization. Also, Atlantis was not an isolated civilization. It was part of a world culture and there were earlier civilizations reaching back to even more remote times.

In the end, Atlantis corrupted itself creating one of humanity’s the darkest periods. As Albert Einstein said about the danger of nuclear war, “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but world War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.” In a sense, this is what happened with Atlantis. Its eventual demise along with natural geological cataclysms has been a major reason knowledge of Atlantis has been reduced to legend.

Yet long before its decay, Atlantis had a golden age. Science, spirituality and society blended together in magnificent ways. Most of all, the veil between the spiritual and the material was not so great and there was a natural understanding and cooperation with the divine. Challenges and trials were still there, but without question it was a marvelous time for humanity.

What is the significance of Atlantis today?

Atlantis shares much with today’s world even though humanity is older now. The rapid development of modern society reflects an unconscious rekindled of Atlantean achievements yet expressed on a grander scale. Civilization today is far more developed overall than it has ever been. There is more spiritual light on the planet than ever before and more opportunity to grow spiritually despite today’s challenges.

History is knowledge and knowledge is power. The significance of Atlantis is its eventual resurfacing will reawaken the recognition of our own potential and collective abilities. Eventually, our society will have to come to terms with its own past so it can take its biggest leap forward into a modern golden age.

Taken from Barbara and Dimitri’s latest book, “Karma and Reincarnation“:

Reincarnation is the Soul’s process of evolution. On average each soul will reincarnate 800 times to forge its spiritual mettle and attain spiritual mastery. It is through the process of rebirth that we are given the opportunities to fully express our free will and work out our karma.

Karma is derived from the Sanskrit root kr, meaning “to do, to make, deed, or act”. Karma is the balancer of life – the harmonizer. It is the principle of action and its effect ~ for every action we take there is an eventual and inescapable effect to that action. “The law of Karma is designed in Love to make you a greater being and realize the great goal you have ~ union with the Divine”.

Of these 800 lifetimes the soul goes through three distinct phases. It spends approximately 200 lifetimes in the instinctual phase (physical life in all its vicissitudes-pain, pleasure, birth, death, sex – essentially survival and instinct), 500 lifetimes in its intellectual phase (the phase in which we become self-aware and awaken to accountability), and 100 lifetimes in its enlightened phase (consciously co-creation with God).

The earth is a wonderful “school house” where souls at different levels of mastery intermingle with each other and help each other along the way. It’s important to honor all levels of development as each has its place in the heart of the Beloved.

Humanity is at a crossroads. A great number of souls are getting ready to make the leap into the enlightened cycle of incarnations. Some have already made the jump. The spiritual renaissance that is blossoming is no accident. Humanity is preparing for a glorious new day in evolution where it will work in closer connection with the divine than ever before.
____________________________

Using my free will to consciously choose to think/speak/act in co-creation with the Divine is a daily practice and challenge. There are moments when I “fail” and moments when I experience the deep peace of knowing I have made a choice in alignment with my path.

Becoming aware of the daily applications of the law of cause and effect with the “little things”, and most importantly, putting that awareness into action, has proven to be very rewarding. I now fully understand that how I spend my time (energy) will generate equivalent spiritual results. I take into account where I spend my energy (buh-bye procrastination) and with whom I spend it (sorry TV, please dont call).

Where do you feel you are in your 800 lives?
Are you aware of the law of cause and effect in your daily life?
What are you thoughts about the “new day” coming?
