We are delighted to announce our Fall 2008 Fund Drive. We are so grateful to the people who have supported the institute and helped bring us to the place we are today. Through this fund drive, we are raising money to expand the institute activities and publish Barbara Martin’s new book on reincarnation and karma. We are happy to say the manuscript is in its final stages of completion. It has been a labor of love to say the least, and will bring to light many new insights regarding these essential laws of life. Book production is scheduled to begin in October and the scheduled publication date is late Spring 2009. We thank you for all your encouragement and welcome your support so we can make this book a bestseller!

We are very happy to announce a month of exciting events. Barbara will be returning to the Body Mind Spirit Expo in Pasadena for her workshop The Healing Power of Your Aura, September 7. She will be conducting a wonderful full day event, Your Aura and the Inspired Mind, September 13 in Columbus, Ohio. There still time to register but space is filling up fast. Our many thanks to everyone who is organizing this exciting event - a very special thanks to John Harrison and Terri Quinlin. Barbara and Dimitri have several radio interviews in September including Inner Views with Kimmie and Steve, September 5 on CBS radio. Barbara and Dimitri will be hosting a teleclass, The Aura of Prosperity, Wednesday, September 24. Call in with your questions!

Looking ahead to October, Barbara will be conducting a fascinating lecture, The Aura of Leadership, at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Los Angeles. In honor of the American presidential elections, Barbara will explore what happens to the aura when someone is in a position of leadership such as the president of a country. She will also explore role of karma in relation to the affairs of a nation - including the karmic role of its elected officials and citizens.

On a sad note, our friend Paul Burkett passed on this last summer. Paul was a lifetime student of metaphysics as well as being an astute businessman and entrepreneur. He was always a delight to be with. He believed very strongly in the importance of the aura and was a dedicated supporter of Spiritual Arts Institute. He will be missed very much. Our prayers are with him.

Our next cycle of online classes including the foundation course, Change Your Aura, Change Your Life begins October 15! This foundation program teaches you how to work with spiritual energy and is the key to all the training offered through the institute. We now have a daytime class for those who cannot attend the evening timeslot. We are so grateful for the last summer’s sessions as they brought together a wonderful group of people.

All in all, this Fall offers an extraordinary line up of courses and events. We hope to see you often!

Join us for a lively discussion on the aura and spiritual growth! Rebecca Jernigan will interview Barbara on her live radio show, Journeys with Rebecca, on Saturday August 9th at 6 p.m. PDT.

Barbara will be giving a lecture and booksigning on her book Change Your Aura, Change Your Life at Many Paths Bookstore in North Hollywood on Saturday, July 26th.

It’s also a good time to visit Many Paths, as they’re closing their bricks-and-mortar store soon (but will still be available on the internet) and so are having a great sale. See you there!

For those of you in the Portland, Oregon area, Barbara will be giving an in-depth workshop on The Healing Power of Your Aura at the New Renaissance Bookshop in Portland on July 19th. There is still time to register for it here.

Thank you to all of you who were at the Enlightening the Mind workshop at the Infinity Foundation in Chicago. The workshop went very well, and it was wonderful to see you there!

We had our first teleconference call last evening, on clearing subconscious patterns. It went very well - thank you to all who registered for helping to make it a success!

Thank you to all of you who were at the Bodhi Tree for Barbara’s lecture on The Healing Power of Your Aura last Sunday. We had a great crowd - it was wonderful to see familiar faces and to meet new ones!

Barbara will be giving a lecture on The Healing Power of Your Aura at the Bodhi Tree in West Hollywood on June 22. She will be talking about the aura as an essential key to building and maintaining health, and giving aura readings to members of the audience. We hope to see you there!

We had a wonderful time at Unity of San Francisco last Sunday. They are a great group of people. Barbara’s lectures went very well, and we met lots of new friends. Thank you to all who attended!

Barbara had two booksignings at Book Expo America last weekend, which went very well. Our new distributor was there and the book was very well received. To all those who attended, it was great to see you there!
