Facing Your Fears with the Golden Ray of Wisdom

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Fear can certainly have a paralyzing effect upon our lives. It can stop us from going out and doing all that we’re capable of achieving. The thing with fear is it won’t go away by itself. You have to stand up to your fears; you have to face them sooner or later. The mistake too often made is to avoid facing our fears for as long as possible. This only serves to build up the fear bigger than it really is. It’s always better to face your fear as soon as possible. The sooner you face your fears head on, the sooner you put them behind you. You cannot climb high the on spiritual ladder if you are dwelling in the shadows of fear.

Fear shows up as a grey energy in the aura. The divine power that will help you in building courage is the golden ray of wisdom. This is the dynamic energy of confidence. It gives you the strength of God to face and resolve any fears. If God is truly in our corner, what have we really to fear? Use this energy as often as you need to and trust in God that you can surmount any fearful condition that has come into your life.

Letting Emotions Get the Better of Us

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

We all know the power of emotions in our lives. When we have our emotions in harmony and balance they can make life beautiful, and when we let our emotions get the better of us, they make our life a living hell. Our emotions play an important part of our aura. Everything we feel radiates a spiritual energy corresponding to the quality of our emotion. It is a sad fact that often the weakest part of a person’s aura is the emotional body.

The key thing to understand with emotions is that they do not think. The job of the emotional part of us is to feel, to give life to our thoughts. Our mental body is the director of our consciousness and emotions are meant to be the spiritual motor that puts ideas into action. Once an idea is wed with an emotion, it had tremendous power and will express itself in some way.

The emerald green ray is a wonderful energy to work with in the emotional body. It helps to keep balance and harmony between thoughts and feelings. We want to have a rich and expressive emotional life, so it’s important to nourish the emotions with spiritual energy and keep our emotions on a high a level as possible.

The First Seven Years

Sprout

We all know how important a good upbringing is. In childhood, we form patterns of behavior that we carry for the rest of our lives. If we were fortunate to have been brought up in a loving and supportive environment, that will carry us a long way in life even if later on we meet with adversity. In the same way, if we were brought up in a difficult and unsupportive environment, we can carry the mark of those experiences into adulthood as well.

Metaphysics teaches us that regardless of the kind of childhood we had, we have the ability to surmount any challenge or obstacle of our young years. No matter what kind of life we were born into, it’s up to us as to what we make of ourselves.

From the point of view of the aura, the first seven years of life are especially crucial because it takes seven years for the basic auric power to become fully engaged. This means that before that time, the consciousness of the child is particularly adaptable. Patterns of behavior are not yet fixed. This is true for the subconscious mind as well. Although the subconscious mind of the child is being filled with the experiences around it, those experiences have not yet been firmly established as a basic pattern of behavior.

At around age seven, the child receives what is known as the mental etheric body. This is a protective body that surrounds the auric field. It performs key functions including helping to channel spiritual energy into the aura. The interesting thing is once we receive this supportive body, it solidifies the energies of the aura itself. This is necessary to stabilize the auric power and give the child a steady spiritual footing. It also solidifies patterns established in the subconscious mind. This can work in our favor with the many positive and essential things that have been established there. Yet it can also set the stage for some of our tests and challenges later in life as it also solidifies undesirable behavior patterns.

Of course, we develop patterns of behavior all through our life, good and bad. I’m talking about deep seated patterns that are established early. The philosopher tells us, “Give me the first seven years of a person’s life and you can have the rest.” And this is a direct reference to the tremendous impact this formative time in our life has on us.

After the age of seven, we can certainly change any bad habits we’ve acquired, but now more effort is required. We all know it’s not always easy to change a bad habit at any time, but the patterns from childhood can be among the most difficult to turn around.

Here again the Divine Light can be of tremendous assistance in rooting out any difficult or painful experiences from childhood that are adversely affecting us now. The great purifying energy of the orange-red flame and the healing power of the blue-white fire can do wonders to release any adverse patterns in the subconscious mind formed in those first seven years. It takes patience and determination to turn things around, but you will be amazed at how effective an ally the Divine Light is in this part of your life.

Talent and the Aura

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

Talent shows itself beautifully in the aura. It comes through as an electric blue light. When the talent is pronounced, this energy will be radiating brilliantly. There is a whole division of the aura connected to talents and abilities because creativity plays such an important part in our spiritual development. We are all meant to be creative in some way. Talent, by the way, is not limited to artistic talent. Skills and abilities are part of talent as well. If a person has electric blue strongly present in his or her aura, it indicates this person has reached a high level of accomplishment in their skill or talent. Either this soul has brought in this talent from a past life or has developed it in this life. Either way, the key is to keep building your talent as this is part of your spiritual development and divine destiny.

Joy and Happiness

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

The very words are exciting and uplifting.  We are all looking for more joy and happiness in our lives. Yet, from the spiritual perspective, joy and happiness are not the same things! Joy is of the spirit while happiness is part of our human experience. You might say that happiness is a stepping stone to joy. Happiness is a reaction to positive experiences in your life. When something goes well, naturally you feel happy - and rightfully so. Yet at the same time, you must remember that happiness is conditional. What can make you happy one minute can make you sad the next. If you have the things you want, you are happy. If you don’t, you can be sad or despondent.

Joy, on the other hand, is not dependent on any external conditions. Joy is a perpetual condition of the spirit. When you are in your true joy state, you can be joyful even when physical conditions are terrible. You can express joy at any time because you can always tap into your spiritual life. In the aura, happiness is seen as a light pink energy while joy is seen as a richer, almost fuschia pink.

Working with the Hermetic Center

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

The Hermetic Center or heart chakra is an incredibly important part of our spiritual anatomy. Located in the middle of the chest, it is the seat of the soul. This means the soul is registering the experiences of life through this center. That’s saying a lot.

It is essential to keep our Hermetic Center moving strong. If the spiritual energy of this center is weak, it is difficult for the activities in our life to move in a positive way. From the point of view of the aura, the Hermetic Center is the energetic nucleus of our personal affairs. You might call it our action center. We need to constantly impress the Divine Light upon this center to keep it vital. One of the most important energies to have strong in this center is the emerald green ray, as this brings in balance and stability to all that we are doing. Another essential ray is the bright orange. This ray brings in motivation and enthusiasm. If I see this ray in the Hermetic Center, it means that the person is active in life, not sitting on the fence, and is pursing the things that need to be accomplished.

Let us know your experiences in working with the Hermetic Center!

Spiritual Protection

Monday, January 21st, 2008

A most essential part of metaphysical work is protection. We all know how we must protect ourselves physically, but we also need to protect ourselves spiritually. We live in a sea of spiritual energy and it is very easy to get caught in energies of a low vibration without intending to. Spiritual protection keeps us in our own sphere of divine power. It lets in the uplifting energies while refusing the destructive vibrations.

Gold is the strongest energy of protection. Envisioning yourself in a golden bubble of light is very effective in building a protective spiritual shield around you. Your aura automatically has a protective quality to it, but adding the spiritual protection gives you even more power to maintain your spiritual equilibrium. And as you consistently work with the golden light, your protection continues to build.

I recommend reinforcing the golden bubble of protection when you wake up in the morning, before you go to work, before you go to sleep at night, before going to a party or meeting. If you got upset or something disturbed you, take a moment to reinforce the golden light. Think of the gold as your spiritual bodyguard. Working with the white light for protection is excellent as well. The white light brings in the divine essence and purity which automatically has an uplifting quality and helps you to disconnect any negative energy. The two together are unstoppable.

We would love to hear about your experiences of working with divine protection.

Q & A

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

A reader writes: “Hello, I so enjoy these blogs . . . I am hoping maybe you can help with my energy system situation. I am noticing that sometimes my energy disappears and I become muddle-headed as soon as I have a thought that doesn’t work for me . . . I view that others have stronger energy systems and are able to do things that might be disagreeable to them while I can’t even think about it without upsetting my apple-cart. Would you be able to recommend anything for me? - Melinda

An excellent question. Everyone has moments when something disturbs their spiritual equilibrium. This is all part of the learning process. Of course, the goal is to not let these moments get the better of us. As the Higher teaches us, it’s not what happens in our life that matters so much as how we handle what is happening to us. That is the part we are in control of.When something disturbs you, immediately turn to God and the Higher for help. Work with the light to release that disturbance. The white light is excellent for this as is the orange-red flame followed by the rejuvenating blue white-fire. Also work with the emerald green for balance in the emotional center. Then ask the divine for guidance and direction. Trust the Higher and your intuition and follow whatever guidance you’re receiving to the best of your ability.

The Joy of Gratitude

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Most people who are spiritually minded understand and express gratitude. When it comes to expressing gratitude to God, we are stepping into a state of eternal gratitude, for God is always in the process of giving to us. In the aura, gratitude shows up as a beautiful pink light especially around the emotional body. When you give thanks to God, not only are you expressing your love to the divine, you are also lifting yourself up out of the vibratory rates of the lower self and stepping into a state of joy that comes from the Higher Self. Feeling a steady flow of joy is part of being in the God consciousness. If you’re down in the blues and feeling blah all the time, you’ve disconnected with the higher consciousness, and naturally you won’t feel like there’s anything to be grateful for. When you find yourself in one of these lower states, immediately turn things around by giving thanks to God for all the divine does for you. Be grateful for everything, the little as well as the big, as this keeps you in touch with the higher and keeps your light expanding. No matter what is happening in your life, there is always something for which to be grateful. Happy Thanksgiving!

Working with the Emerald Green Ray of Balance and Harmony

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

This is a wonderful energy to use in a variety of situations. The purpose of this ray is to help keep you spiritually centered. There are so many things that try to pull you in one direction or another that this energy helps keep everything moving in harmony and maintains your spiritual equilibrium. How interesting that the nucleus of your heart center—the energetic focal point for all your personal activities—is emerald green. This shows how vital this spiritual power is.If you feel like your life is too hectic or you’re always struggling to catch up, this is an excellent energy to call on to bring your aura and consciousness back into balance. Remember, it’s your job to stay in your own spiritual rhythm regardless of what is going on around. The emerald green ray is particularly good to work with in the heart and emotional centers as these two centers need this energy very much. Let us know your experiences of working with this light!
